Production’s first foray into Asia was
with the Singin’ in the Rain project.
Pulling resources from around the globe, Singin’ consisted
of 14 containers of scenery from Australia,
2 containers of lighting from Seoul, hundreds
of costumes from the U.S. and a fully automated
rain deck and misting system. The entire production
was installed into a new theatre space on the
third floor of a building in central Seoul
(with the assistance of a construction crane
through a third floor fire escape). This
multi-million dollar production, with a Korean
cast and multi-national crew, defied all odds
and set a new standard in accomplishment and
expectations in the Korean musical market. |
